A combination of 57% Merlot and 43% Cabernet Franc. This Cabernet Merlot was aged in French oak for 19 months, of which 20 percent was new. It has an attractive nose of juicy plum and ripe raspberries with some subtle baking space showing through. It is full-bodied with abundant ripe and polished tannins. The fruit and substantial structure stand up beautifully to red meats, wood-fired pizza or spaghetti and meatballs.
